Vriesveem De Berg has two sites with storage and transhipment facilities:
A modern tank storage facility with a substantial capacity for fruit-juice concentrate in bulk. Each stainless steel tank has a capacity of approx. 300 m3, and is equipped with a nitrogen blanketing system. This technology enables longer storage times at temperatures as low as –8°C. In addition, all tanks have a fully automated, computer-operated CIP (Cleaning In Place) system.
A large storage capacity for bulk concentrates chilled to 0 / +5°C. The stainless tanks have a capacity of approx. 50 m3 and have a fully automated, computer-operated CIP (Cleaning In Place) system.
A cold store for the storage of drums. This incorporates state-of-the-art, computer-controlled temperature regulation for individual temperature control per storage space.
Vriesveem De Berg, based in Landgraaf and Heerlen (NL), specialises in blending, storage and transhipment of chilled or frozen fruit juice concentrates and purees, as well as any other types of chilled and frozen foods.
